Situational Self Leadership®
The new workforce demands self-motivated individuals who are willing to handle more responsibility, to lead themselves and others, and to embrace change. Situational Self Leadership® (SSL®) is designed for individuals at all levels who want to make the transition from being responsive to being responsible, and to take initiative in idea generation, innovation and problem solving. The process provides individual contributors with strategies for gaining more satisfaction from their work—by challenging their notion of leadership. Coaching Essentials For Leaders
Developing leaders who possess coaching skills can help organizations boost performance, mentoring, and accountability. Coaching Essentials for Leaders teaches managers to emulate great coaches.
Coaching Essentials for Leaders is a skills-based training program that focuses on helping leaders be more coach-like by developing core coaching skills and applying new behaviors to help develop their colleagues, employees, and teams. The program does not attempt to make leaders into coaches. Rather, leaders are encouraged to examine their current behaviors and leadership styles while experiencing how the use of coaching can make them more effective.
Participants learn to:
- Use coaching to accelerate individual and team progress toward the organization’s objectives
- Create an environment of trust that accelerates the development of others so that they can more effectively contribute to the organization’s goals
- Understand and use communication skills that develop self-reliance in others
- Understand and apply a four-step coaching process that results in clear agreements and initiates action
- Determine situations when coaching is appropriate for helping others reach a higher level of performance
