How many people do you know who study brain research for fun?
It’s true. I’m an avid learner, and some call me a brain geek. I earned an Executive Masters in the Practical Application of NeuroLeadership after completing the Post Graduate NeuroLeadership Certificate Program. And yet, I continue to spend hours and hours learning about how our brains work, and more importantly, how we can become better leaders – and better people – because of that knowledge.
I enjoy neuroscience and how it impacts you as a leader, plain and simple. As a neuroscience enthusiast and leadership expert, I believe that:
- Emotional intelligence makes for healthier, stronger individuals who become better leaders at home and work.
- The richest, most fulfilled individuals are those who pursue making a positive difference in the world primarily through healthy relationships.
- Change requires self-awareness, insight and support.
- You can change your life, one small step at a time.
- Your brain is a powerful tool that can learn, unlearn and relearn.
I also believe that your brain can be your worst bully.
To help fight those bullies that reside in your brain, I placed myself in a position to assist others by starting my own business. I became an ICF Professional Certified Coach, Board Certified Coach and Master Certified Coach. I am an advisor, faculty member and mentor coach for Wellcoaches, and served as an executive coach and consulting associate for the Ken Blanchard organization for 15 years.
As leaders, we each have a Leadership Point of View that began forming in our childhood. I enjoy sharing my Leadership Point of View precisely because bullying, both physical and mental, played a starring role.
But this isn’t about me. I care about YOU, and I know how to defeat the bullies in your head.
If you are already successful, leading teams, and ready and willing to advance at work and in life, let’s talk. Are you ready to take back control of your work and home life?
