Eight Elements of Influence-IQ™

Your Influence-IQ™ is a combination of eight elements, described here using the acronym I.N.F.L.U.E.N.C.E. as a helpful and meaningful reminder. By refining and displaying these elements, you can increase your intellectual and interpersonal skills that inspire productive collaboration, effective decision-making, and desired outcomes through others.

In = Independence (autonomy, control and choice)

F = Fairness (flexibility and justice)

L = Leverage (power, status and rank)

U = Understanding (insight, needs/driver, and motivation)

E – Engagement (belonging, connection and relationship)

N = Neutrality (bias, filters and “lazy cognition”)

C = Clarity (direction, certainty and focus)

E = Empathy (observation without judgment, vulnerability)
